Maureen P, M.S.W., R.S.W

Maureen is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Furthermore, she holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Arizona State University. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked with various age groups and cultural demographics, addressing issues such as violence, sexual assault, healthy relationships, immigration and newcomers, infertility, as well as relationship and mental health concerns.

Maureen sees clients of all ages for individual and family counselling. She works from a strengths-based approach and, moreover, is experienced in several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). Known for her empathy, warmth, and welcoming smile, she puts people from every walk of life at ease. As a result, she works with clients in a validating and affirming manner, supporting them in finding their own version of success. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
